Types of electric scooters on the market.

Today we have to consider many factors when choosing our electric scooter. The main thing is not just to decide between an electric scooter with a seat, or one without a seat. The first thing to consider is the use of the scooter on public roads.

There are electric scooters for children and electric scooters for adults, we will differentiate both by the power of their motors.

- From 0 to 120 W we can consider them children 's skateboards , they do not usually reach a speed higher than 15 km / h and could circulate under the norm of the city

- FROM 120W TO 250W WE CAN ALREADY CONSIDER THEM SCOOTERS FOR CHILDREN FROM 12 YEARS AND ADULTS, THEY DO NOT USUALLY EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT REGULATED BY LAW OF 25KM/H. WE ALSO NEED TO COMPLY WITH CITY REGULATIONS FOR PROPER USE.

- Electric scooters over 350W, in general, reach speeds above 25KM/H and these are no longer (usually) allowed for circulation without registration. * we always recommend consulting the local authorities to see all the possibilities.

ELECTRIC SCOOTERS

Within the electric scooters we also have those that are MATRICULABLE (CICLOMOTORS)

They're sold unregistered, but they have a technical file. If required they can be registered and their power goes from 350 w and onwards, they can reach up to 3000 w, a real exaggeration for a scooter.

As in all of the above, we also recommend taking into account the road safety recommendations of each municipality, since in many cases they may vary from one municipality to another.
